  • Dragon Prep

We leave tuesday for the Dragon. Gotta start packing and test fitting stuff today. Need to figure out how much room I’ll have for beer after all our gear and puppy stuff if loaded up.
    I’m really excited!

  • Under Bonnet Done

The red hoses for the headlight washers came today, so I’m pretty much set for the Dragon now, at least for today 🙂 Also got my cowl scoops installed. Not sure if I’m going to keep them or not.

  • MSD coil and hood painted

I was able to get the stock coil pack bolts apart, so I could install the new MSD red coil pack. Looks very nice sitting in the middle of the engine bay. Also painted the under hood. Looks a bit more purple than the stock color, we’ll see how it looks when it dries. (crosses fingers)

  • New Plug Wires

So I’ve owned the car just about 4 months, and today swapped out a part that I already had swapped out for a second time. (first was the John Cooper Works CAI for the ALTA one), today I removed my blue Kingsborne Plug wires in favor of red Magnecor ones. I actually like the texture of the previous ones better (kinda fabric, vs smooth silicone now). I have a red MSD coil pack, but need bolts.

    • BEFORE:
      Blue Wires
    • AFTER:
      Red Plug Wires

I was going blue and black under the bonnet, but decided I want it to look like a Dragons innards under the hood, so all red hoses and chrome now 🙂

  • iPhone check

just a quick post from my phone 🙂
got the moss cowl scoops on last night, only one broken clip.
    I’m getting better

Good shot of the Hamann front aero bumper. (I know the cars a bit dusty)

  • Under Bonnet

Just finished detailing the engine. Added red silicone tubing for the washer hoses. I’m pretty happy with how things are looking now.
